The Search For Your Fashion Dream Wedding Dress Starts Here

Wedding dress silhouettes for brides to consider:

Short wedding dresses
Opting to state”I do” in summer, or going to get a sweet and simple registry office wedding? Then turn your attention to fuss-free short wedding gown fashions. Both Audrey Hepburn and Mia Farrow opted for shorter spans on their big days — with unforgettable results. A cropped hemline might not bring the identical drama as a floor-sweeping dress, but it could surely make an impact, particularly when paired with the right accessories. Rime Arodaky, Miu Miu and Self-Portrait all offer chic and modern options.
If conventional silhouettes and colors are not something, why don’t you think about a boho wedding gown? Hallmarks include fluted sleeves, off-the-shoulder silhouettes and layers of lace, in addition to creamy off-white shades which are decidedly softer than pristine white. If you are planning seaside nuptials, or even a garden or backyard wedding, then a bohemian-style wedding gown will definitely suit the surroundings.
Beach wedding gowns
Beachside nuptials throw some specific requirements where the wedding dress is concerned. It is safe to assume that you are looking for warm weather, maybe hot, so search for a gown that is breeze and heat-friendly. Contemplate diaphanous fabrics, relaxed silhouettes, off-the-shoulder styles, or even a backless moment when hunting for something to suit the sandy setting. Don’t forget that detachable trains, sleeves or skirt overlays could be worked in to amp up the play and suit the warmth, too. Grace Loves Lace, Dana Harel and Greta Kate are our go-to designers for beach wedding gowns.

Pink wedding dresses
Brides who wish to eschew traditional white but still look amorous in their wedding should reach for a pink wedding dress. Look to soft colors of rose, blossom or blush when shopping, and consider designers such as Vera Wang, Monique Lhuillier and Hermione de Paula, all of whom provide up innovative takes on the vibrant wedding gown season . If all-out pink does not feel quite right, but a hint of color still pops, embroidery or variegated layers could be quite a subtle way to integrate your favourite hue.
Winter wedding gowns
A winter wedding presents an opportunity to invest in a dress or ensemble that won’t be forgotten in a rush. There are a number of obvious hallmarks to take advantage of: long sleeves, full skirts, a high neckline, or even a statement train for starters. And as much as trimmings proceed, the world is your oyster. Lace, floral appliqué, fringing, frills, tulle and elaborate beadwork are all worth considering, as extravagant silhouettes offer more room to play with.
More alternative silhouettes work for winter wedding gowns also, with suiting a posh choice when the temperatures drop. Designers to remember when searching for a winter wedding?
Simple wedding dresses
If you are after something minimal and classic, there is no reason it has to mean casual. A stunning column or A-line silhouette can nevertheless provide theatrics, while remaining pared-back and elegant. Pick out of lace and adornment and concentrate instead on a fantastic match and unique finishing touches. A flattering neckline or design style will add something special, without the need to go overboard on layout components. Halfpenny London, Danielle Frankel and Alex Perry will be the designers to scope out first if you are after a simple wedding gown.

Whether you choose to rent a wedding dress in the most important day of life

Modern bride also has a lot of choice to rent wedding, the traditional purchase is not lost. The bride is in the budget, renting the tempting choice (after all, people always do it). But in reality, renting is not always the cheapest option. It has a major flaw.

wedding dress

FIT

Fit takes a wedding dress from pretty to perfect. Almost all wedding dresses need at least a little bit of alteration to make the fit exact. With rental, alterations simply aren’t an option. So, while you might be wearing your dream dress, it may not look as amazing as it could.

LOVE

Wedding gown rentals have strict timelines. Typically, you’ll receive the dress only a few days before your big day and will need to ship it back immediately after. For many brides, that’s not enough time with one of the most special gowns they’ll ever wear.

WORRY

Normal wear is excepted with a rental, but anything exceptional could quickly become costly. A bride should enjoy her wedding without fearing every wine glass bearing guest that approaches to offer congratulations.

A BETTER WAY

wedding dressBrides can actually save more than they would with rental, by purchasing PreOwned. Let’s use Monique Lhuillier’s stunning Saffron gown as an example.

A bride can purchase this gown used for approximately $2,500. Or rent it for $1,225. By purchasing it PreOwned, she owns the dress. That means that she can alter it to exactly her measurements and ensure a perfect fit. She can also wear it worry free. After her big day, she can budget to clean the gown ($250) and then re-sell it. She can expect to earn up to $1,600 on resale, making her net cost to wear the dress only $1,150. Less than the cost of rental. And with more joy (and less headaches).

Wedding Dress Trends in 2017

Day planning your wedding is very happy and important is exciting. But the plan also brings a lot of pressure to get every detail. Perhaps this project is one of the most symbolic, at least for the ladies, the skirt. For most brides, wedding hunt can be both fun and frustrating; it is an emotional information – especially trying to be independent of your current style of dream dress. If you want to know what kind of clothes you will see when you end up visiting the wedding boutiques, here are the trends of the five gowns in 2017:

THE COLD SHOULDER

This style has been all over fashion runways for a couple of seasons now, so it’s no wonder bridal designers have picked up on the look. Designer Berta Balilti’s version combines softly draped sleeves and a corseted bodice with a dramatic train for a look that’s ultra romantic.

Wedding Dress

COLOR

Opting to wear color on your wedding day is still something widely seen as more fitting for fashion iconoclasts. If you’re the confident and daring type, skip the pearly whites and blush pinks and go for something high wattage, like this high-low, canary yellow gown with floral appliqué by Naeem Khan. Its saturated hue is a bold statement for any bride willing to go outside the traditional pale color palette.

Wedding Dress

PLUNGING NECKLINES

Many bridal designers also create red carpet looks for Hollywood’s A-list. If you watched the Golden Globes, you would have noticed that plunging necklines are a major trend—which is why they’re also showing up on bridal gowns. It’s a look that can easily become too revealing (especially for more demure or traditional brides) but Hayley Paige’s version in rich silk mikado manages to be beautiful, without exposing too much cleavage.

Wedding Dress

BOUDOIR LACE

Another source of inspiration for bridal designers this season? The bedroom. Yes, sexy, negligee-inspired styles with lace are on-trend (if you haven’t guessed it by now, the décolleté is the “it” body region to display for spring). Romona Keveža’s fluted gown with nude slip and embroidered appliqué lace keeps the look modern and elegant.

Wedding Dress

THE VEIL

If you even consider this season no veil, think twice The dramatic veil was run by the bride’s run from Rema Kela to Carolina Helena. Plus, if you have a traditional wedding service, remember that your guests will look at your back, cottage products for a long time, so when there are amazing veils for them to provide some interesting things to check their attention Force began to wander. Denver’s bride headdress designer Sarah Gabriel’s Trinity Lace features from Sophie Hallette House (French lace and gauze store was founded in 1887) and a perfect accent for a formal dress.

Hot New Wedding Dress Trends for 2017

Planning a 2017 wedding? You will have a lot of beautiful wedding dress trends to choose from. Exposed dresses for the neckline and back, corset, skirt and train with fabric and sparkling decorative flowers, perhaps the Regal Bridal nods, sleeves from restricted to wrist-length hottest style from the bride’s runway. Take a look at this year’s most amazing wedding trends.

SLEEVES

The bride looking for Grace Kelly and Kate Middleton does not seem to find it difficult to locate a fantastic dress with long lace sleeves. The designers add sleeves, many of their dresses this season, some just mounted on the shoulders, several imitating the length of the t-shirt, and others to go more vivid with the sleeves pulled elegantly or rolling.

This minimalist prom dress Vicky Wang is quite a statement of its slump, exposed shoulders and never-ending sleeves. The cleaning cloth is decorated with a detail of the jewelry belt at the waist.

Hot New Wedding Dress

Perhaps as a nod to the 70s, Berta’s wrap-like wedding dress has a bead-embellished bodice with soft bell sleeves. The crisp mermaid skirt has a thigh-high slit and delicate ruffle detail that trails from the waist.

Hot New Wedding Dress
One of the season’s sweeter looks, perhaps for a daytime wedding, is this Lela Rose dress with illusion detail across the décolletage with capped sleeves and a textured polka-dot bodice and tea-length skirt.

Hot New Wedding Dress

V-NECKLINES

Racier looks have reigned on the runways for years, and as part of the trend necklines went from sweetheart to sweeping with V and even U-shapes necklines that go from neck to navel. Some cutouts are “filled in” with an illusion fabric, such as netting or lace for a more modest take.

Israeli designer Berta consistently shows revealing gowns so a V-neckline is far from shocking, yet this one catches the eye because it plunges beneath a traditional V and continues to the waist line. The juxtaposition of a feminine floral and tulle gown with a sexy and revealing bodice is what makes this gown so alluring.

Hot New Wedding Dress

Softer than a V, Ines Di Santo created a U-neckline on this sheath with ruffled train. The bodice cut-out is “filled in” with a sheer fabric with a lattice pattern and embellished with crystal and beaded floral details.

Hot New Wedding Dress

Perhaps inspired by Marilyn Monroe, this Romona Keveza Legends ball gown has a plunging V with a halter neckline. The minimalist design of the gown itself allows the focus to be on the bodice, which is only adorned by a jeweled belt detail at the waist.

Hot New Wedding Dress

RUFFLES

More feminine than playful, ruffles were the newest design detail to walk the runways. Designers offered ruffles on their own as a delicate embellishment to a sleeve, neckline or hemline, modernized them by creating volume on a skirt, or making a traditional look edgier.

This Anne Barge ball gown gets a 21st century update with cascading ruffle peplums cut on the bias. The layers add volumes to the already full skirt. The sweetheart bodice is made with a corded lace and the veil is trimmed in large floral lace for a traditional look.

Hot New Wedding Dress

Peplums hit the bridal runway several seasons ago and this ruffled version by Reem Acra gives it a modern makeover. Quite a regal look, the voluminous ball gown skirt is paired with a minimalist off-the-shoulder bodice and crystal embellishment at the waist.

Hot New Wedding Dress

For an outdoor or laid-back affair, Christos’ light-as-air sheath has delicate ruffles flowing from the skirt and along the cold-shoulder neckline.

Hot New Wedding Dress

FLOWERS

A traditional bridal element going back centuries, floral details on wedding dresses can be designed in several ways. Three-dimensional fabric petals and blooms can adorn bodices, skirts and trains, embroidered and beaded flowers add a light texture to a gown, and all-over floral-patterned fabrics are a pleasant statement-making surprise on the runway.

This floral-embellished gown by ready-to-wear and bridal designer Naeem Khan features three-dimensional daisies in various sizes on the bodice and skirt. The plunging V-neckline and spaghetti straps take the most innocent of blooms and creates a very daring wedding-day look.

Hot New Wedding Dress

Oscar de la Renta pairs a minimal fluted skirt with an embellished bodice made with lace and three-dimensional flowers. A satin band at the waist separates the two opposite design elements.

Hot New Wedding Dress

This soft, romantic sheath by Ines Di Santo features a one-shoulder three-dimensional floral strap that cascades like a garland to the hem of the skirt and along the waistline. A train follows, trimmed with the same fabric bloom.

Hot New Wedding Dress

ILLUSION

Brides who have decided to bare more than just some skin on their wedding day have an option to remain a little modest with illusion fabrics such as lace and tulle, sometimes adorned or embellished, that barely cover their décolletage and backs. As necklines dip lower and backs become more open, designers are offering up creative and stunning ways to be sexy but still demure as you recite your vows. Sheer inserts allow for some coverage on necklines that dip deep to the navel, ensuring the feeling that you’re not about to bust out of the bodice.

Delicate floral details cover the illusion bodice on this hi-low gown by Marchesa. With a crew neckline and tee-shirt length sleeves, small white blooms and petals make their way up from the waistline, over the breast creating a V-neckline and trail off the shoulders for quite a romantic look.

Hot New Wedding Dress

One of the hottest designer’s right now, Inbal Dror leads the pack of Israeli bridal designers with her barely-there gowns. This lace mini dress has a point d’esprit lace over-dress that is trimmed in satin and “covers” both the arms and legs.

Hot New Wedding Dress

Perhaps inspired by commoners turned royal brides Kate Middleton or Grace Kelly, this regal gown by Amsale features delicate long lace sleeves and a crew neckline over a corseted bodice and a tiered tulle ball gown skirt.
